Create a More Comfortable Outdoor Living Space
At Hickory Dickory Decks Cincinnati, we design and build custom covered decks and roof structures that make your backyard more functional in changing weather.
Whether you’re looking for a roof over a new composite deck, or a pavilion that creates a defined outdoor living area, our experienced team can help design a solution that fits your space, style and how you want to use your backyard.
Why Add a Roof Over Your Deck?
A well-designed roof structure can dramatically change how often you use your deck.
Shade on Hot Summer Days
A covered deck provides relief from direct sun, creating a more comfortable space for dining, relaxing and entertaining during Cincinnati’s warmer months.
Protection From Rain
A solid roof allows you to enjoy your outdoor space even when the weather changes, while also helping protect furniture and other outdoor features from the elements.
A True Outdoor Living Room
Covered decks can incorporate features such as finished ceilings, lighting, ceiling fans and entertainment areas to create a space that feels like a natural extension of your home.
Custom Roof or Pavilion: Which Is Right for You?
Custom Roof
A custom roof is generally attached to the home and integrated into the existing roof structure. It can be an excellent option when you want the covered space to feel like a seamless extension of the house.
Pavilion
A pavilion is typically a freestanding roof structure without enclosed walls. It provides full overhead coverage and can often be added to an existing deck or patio. Pavilions can also incorporate finished ceilings, fans and lighting, creating a ‘living room’ feel. Screens can also be added for bug protection or privacy.
Our team can help determine which option works best based on your home, deck layout, desired level of coverage and overall design.
Build a Backyard You Can Enjoy More Often
A custom covered deck gives you more flexibility to enjoy your backyard without planning every gathering around the forecast.
Whether you envision a simple roof over your deck or a fully finished outdoor living space with lighting, fans and entertainment features, Hickory Dickory Decks Cincinnati can bring your dream backyard to life.
